Many Granite Staters are helping people in the South recover from Hurricane Helene. Crews from Eversource and New Hampshire Electric Co-op are working to restore power in the areas hit by the storm. Eversource line workers are expected to be deployed for a week, hoping to help Appalachian Power get around 150,000 customers back on the grid.

Line workers from Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire are heading to Virginia, the energy supplier says.
