Share Market Today: The two key equity benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, on Tuesday are trading higher amid volatility, led by overnight gains on the Wall Street. At 10.10 am, the BSE Sensex rose 131 points to 84,431. On the other hand, the NSE Nifty50 was trading at 25,839, up 28 points.

The BSE Sensex closed at 84,266.29, down 33.49 points or 0.04 per cent, while the NSE Nifty settled at 25,796.90, a marginal decrease of 13.95 points or 0.05 per cent.

Domestic equity benchmarks Sensex and Nifty50 finished not far from the flatline in a volatile session on Tuesday. Trading will resume on Wednesday owing to the October 2 market holiday for Gandhi Jayanti.

The trends on Gift Nifty also indicate a flat start for the Indian benchmark index. The Gift Nifty was trading around 26,000 level, a premium of nearly 10 points from the Nifty futures’ previous close.
