Bollywood actor Anupam Kher was surprised to learn that counterfeit Rs 500 notes featuring his face instead of Mahatma Gandhi’s were discovered in Gujarat. The counterfeit notes were worth approximately Rs 1.6 crore.

Anupam Kher reacted to a case in Ahmedabad wherein fraudsters duped a man using fake currency notes featuring the actor's face.

Fake notes with Anupam Kher's face on it with 'Resole Bank Of India' printed on them, instead of 'Reserve Bank Of India' were seized in Gujrat. These fake notes were worth Rs 1.60 crore.
