Hurricane Helene has ravaged parts of the southeastern United States with catastrophic flooding since making landfall last week. And after the floodwaters breached a homeowner's garage in Florida, a Tesla caught on fire and was seen on video going up in flames.

The hurricane, which delivered deadly winds and rainfall, devastated the region as officials struggled to get water and other supplies to the area surrounded by precarious floodwaters.

Florida officials have released video of a Tesla catching fire after apparently being flooded in the wake of Hurricane Helene. Little is known about the incident, but the vehicle was partially submerged and its battery pack apparently sparked a blaze.
