The Boston Red Sox are expected to retain the services of a valuable veteran who had arguably his best offensive season in 2024.

Dave Mellor has been referred to as the "Rembrandt of Groundskeeping" and has published two books about the art of mowing and grooming lawns. He was hired by the Red Sox in 2001.
